My Favorite Night Of The Year-The Kids Choice Awards
  April 1st, 2012

Believe it or not, I am 21 years old and I am still not ashamed to admit that I ANXIOUSLY count down the days until the next Kids Choice Awards Ceremony’s . It’s one of few awards shows that I actually make an attempt to watch because this one focuses more or TV and Movie Honors rather than music [since I don't really pay attention to music awards anymore since mainstream isn't what it used to be.] Unlike last year’s upset, this year’s award was actually worth while. There were some noteable moments in the show that I though deserved a post on.

Daniella Monet - Nickelodeon TeenNick HALO Awards - Red Carpet

Daniella posing with her Victorious Cast Mates at the Kids Choice Awards

This year’s award was hosted by the legendary Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air “Mr. Will Smith” . And I know with Will, ANYTHING would be worth while. Before The Prince’s Grand Entrance, Will Spent an hour circling around the Orange Carpert in a real life Kids Choice Award blimp looking for a parking spot as part of his grand entrance.

Before the entrance , I went online to Nick.Com and watched the Kids Choice Pre-Show just to get a glimpse of which stars were in the house tonight for the awards. The Pre-Show was hosted by Daniella Monet who plays Trina in the hit Nick Series Victorious ! [She is the lovely gal in purple to the far right in the photo above.] I enjoyed watching her interview other Nick faves along with the two mini performances from the beautiful Keke Palmer.

Keke Palmer - Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards - Red Carpet

Keke preformed two songs, I remember one of them being “Me And You Against The World” and “Stand Out”. I have always been a fan of Keke’s since “Akeeyla and the Bee” She has such great acting potential for someone her age. After an hour of orange carpet interviews , performances, and triva , it was time to start the show.

As mentioned at the beginning of this post,  the show was opened with Will Smith hijacking out of a real life Kids Choice Awards Blimp and ended with a dance number to LMAFO’s “Sexy and I Know It”. Once the performance ended , Will announced that he was being harassed by an unknown that he called “Creepy Voice”   as the show continued , Will received hints and clues during the show that help viewers and goers guess who may be the mastermind behind “Creepy Voice” . Of course, Will made hilarious false suggestions on who he thought creep voice was. His first victim was Actress Halley Berry who arrived to the ceremony fashionably late due to “traffic” difficulties.

Will was a total Class Act to Halle and led the actress by the hand to her assigned KCA Seating-Only to get SLIMED ON by a group a kids! That’s right! Halle was the FIRST celeb victim to get slimed at the awards and she seemed to take it very lightly. One of my favorite Moments of the night . That moment led up to the first KCA win of the night which was BEST GROUP which was won by Nick’s Truly – BIG TIME RUSH.

Another thing Will Mentioned during his introduction speech at the awards was that one of the presenters would have an exploding blimp to give away at the awards and guess which  Gleek was the victim of the exploding Prank?

That’s Glee’s Chris Colfer whom you all know as KURT! He got slimed while presenting “Favorite TV Actress” with Hedi Klum to former Disney Alumni Selena Gomez of “Wizards of Waverly Place”  !  Selena’s win lead up to the first performance of the night which was one of my favorite Main Stream Singers now -Miss Katy Perry

Now , Katy isn’t the best live singer in the world. But , as I said earlier, music is not what is used to be, so , it doesn’t really matter. The thing I like About Katy is that she has amazing stage presence. Her performances are always up beat and colorful and unique. I like how Katy made her entrance to the stage. She was dressed up  as this colorful Gladiator  and flew into the stage to perform her latest single “Part Of Me” My Favorite Part of the performance is when she brought out the shield that was made in the form of a diamond ! The second performance of the night was from British Boy Band “One Direction” [Whom I am not really a fan of.]

A few awards later , it was time to present the Big Help Award. If you recall last year, Nick’s Big Help Award went to a man I’ve been looking up to since the young age of SEVEN. Mr. Justin Timberlake ! This year’s awards went to another one of my favorites- Country Superstar Taylor Swift ! Taylor received the award from First Lady Michelle Obama .

Remembering Hannah Montana
  March 24th, 2012

Wow, so, I just happened to noticed something about toady-It is the 6 year anniversary of the Disney Tween Series Hannah Montana! Now, I know what you’re thinking. You’re 21 years old and you STILL keep up on Miley Cyrus?! And the answer is- OF COURSE! I’m a SUPER FAN of Miley’s and I am always going to be there. However, I am willing to bet that you all didn’t know that I used to to DESPISE this show at first! WHAT ? ME? A Miley Hater? A Girl that use to run a fan site on her fro 2006 until late 2010 used to HATE Miley? The Answer- I didn’t exactly HATE her, but, It was just that I didn’t understand what it was that drew everyone’s attention to the show. When I first saw the promo for the pilot episode back in 06, I literary thought disney was JOKING. I mean seriously, Disney went from making wholesome family sit-coms like Lizzie McGuire to making shows promoting false messages about Hollywood? I SERIOUSLY used to bash this show guys. It was almost overnight that I couldn’t escape hearing “Best of Both Worlds” on Radio Disney at least 20 times a day. And I couldn’t go to Wal-Mart without finding ANYTHING that didn’t have Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana plastered on it! It was driving me off the EDGE.

Until One Day, I decided to finally give in to the show and give it a chance. I think the first ever Hannah Montana episode I ever did watch was an Episode Called “Bad Moose Rising ” . Where Miley’s character Miley Stewart was tricked into babysitting the daughter of her annoying neighbor. {I forget the Daughter’s and neighbor’s name.] The episode was okay, but, I still wasn’t fully in love with the show , so , I decided to watch a few more episodes just to see if I could learn to love the show. The first thing that appealed to me was the music.  By the time I started to fully like the show, I found out online that the show had already released it’s first soundtrack in stores. So I sampled the songs online and before you know it, I had the whole soundtrack memorized by heart. The fun part I didn’t  know about the show until Miley mentioned it in an interview to Radio Disney was that the concert footage you see in the show was fake! It didn’t make sense to me because they seemed so real at first. Then I found out that there are concerts that are filmed before the Seasons start filming and the footage from the concerts are made into music videos that are used for concert scenes on the show. Then it all made sense.

Another favorite Hannah Memory of mine was the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds 3D concet film release. The film was released into theaters for a limited showing [2 weeks] at first, but,  because of the overwhelming response , Disney decided to extend the movie release for a full month. The Movie was filmed while Miley  was on her  sold out Hannah Montana US Tour in Salt Lake City which helped promoted the show’s doubled disc Soundtrack [Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus ]. Fun Fact: Salt Lake City was also the same place where Disney filmed the 3 High School Musical Sequels . The Concert Movie also featured {then] upcoming boy band The Jonas Brothers. I remember this concert film so well because it was released just weeks after the Hannah Montana episode  that featured the JoBros [Me and Mr Jonas , and Mr Jonas, and Mr. Jonas]  which was the highest rated Hannah episode ever !

Just before the end of Season Two, Disney ordered a featured film for Hannah Montana that would be released into theaters. The Film was released on April 10, 2009 and goosed over 17 Million on it’s opening night and ended with $32,324,487 Million it’s opening weekend. I remember my mom and I went to go see the film a week after it opened. I felt strange sitting in the room and feeling like the only 17 year old up in there. But, I didn’t care because I loved Miley just as much as those kids did.

In closure, I still can’t get over how much the show became a part of me and some of my child hood. I thought My Disney Days were over after watching That’s So  Raven and Lizzie McGuire end. But, I am glad I gave this show a chance. Miley has come a LONG ways since the show’s finale of the show. She has taken two trips to Hati, Sold Out Two World Tours,  Released her Sophomore Album “Can’t Be Tamed” and She has filmed two upcoming movies [ So Undercover and Laughing Out Loud.] She has been a consistent worker since the show. I hope Miley stays leveled headed as her hollywood life continues . I think she is doing a fabulous job at balancing her career with her personal life.

New Layout and Some Other Things
  March 24th, 2012

Good Evening Guys! As You Can see, M2M has a new version ! and guess who made it? Yeah, That’s right ! ME!!!! I am so happy that I have mastered hpw tp create and modify my own wordpress theme! I have been trying for more than a decade now to find someone who can teach me how to code it, but, now one offered,. So , I decided to ask the best teacher out there, MYSELF !! Even though this is the first time  of me coding a WordPress Theme., it is not the first time I have coded a custom theme by myself for my sites. The first layout I ever made was for my demi lovato site and it was in PHP form [because my site was running on cutenews then and not wordpress. Either way, I get a lot of questions from twitter asking me why I never blog about my own life and so much about my sports life. The truth is, I have no problem blogging about my personal life. It's just that , it's just boring. Which Is Why I blog on Hollywood and Sports.

In Speaking of my sports life, Things are not getting any easier for my hometown New Orleans. However there is some good news. Last night, The Hornets had their second homecoming of the season as one their all time favorites made his first trip back to NOLA since being traded to the Clippers in Dec. [Chris Paul] . Of Course, the hive was much crowded than usual and emotions were running high. NOLA was more than welcomed to have their former point guard return back to them . The only suckish part was that this is the first time that they would be rooting against him. Like Majority of their games this season, the Hornets really struggled to keep up with the Clippers. They were down by 11 and then at one point 13 before finally clutching them in the 4th. All things were running smoothly in the hive [for the the hornets] until things hit a hard bump during the forth.

as you saw in the clip, the hit on Blake nearly started what almost became a riot in the hive . I was surprised to find Jason Smith’s name still inn the Trend Topics on Twitter when I woke up this morning due to Clipper fans still whining about the hit. Honestly , I have not been a Blake Griffin fan as long as I have been a fan of Chris , but, I am pretty sure Blake has been hit worse. I mean, I ll come out and be fully honest with you-when I first witness the hit, I literally lost my breath when I herd the hit. Two seconds latter , my mouth is still hanging as Im watching Blake just lay there thinking ‘uh-oh, looks like he’s done for this season.’ then it really got tense  when I saw Chris following Jason to the locker room to Confront Jason about the hit.  And trust me, he wasn’t doing it in a cool manner either because there was security following right behind hits.  Moments later,Blake was finally cleaned up and was able to finished the game, however, Jason was fouled out during the rest of the game. Before the incident , Jason was pretty much having a good night finishing with 17 point and TWO block attempts on Blake Griffin’s Dunk and another block came from Former Clipper  Chris Kaman. So , Friday’s match up at the hive was a home coming for the Hornets fans ans well as the Players as they got to see some of their old teammates . [Kaman, Aminu , and Gordon were all former Clippers.] The Good part of all this was that the hornets were able to come on top and tale down the clippers. The bad part is , The Clippers went home with a 3-Day Road Trip Losing Spree.

Now to get back to the guys who are having an even rougher season than the hornets and the season hasn’t even started yet. I’m stalking about my Saints people!  It seems more troubles are hunting the saints ever since the whole ‘bounty system’ blew up  and things are not gonna get brighter as quick as NOLA wishes it would. Yesterday morning I woke up and checked my facebook [as I normally do before heading off to school.] All Seem to be the same until I got a notification from the Saints’s Punter Tomas Morestead  that seemed a little puzzling to me . I looked at his latest stats update and saw that he felt like he was “Kicked In The Gut” followed by a second update that said “This Is Very Sad” . I kind of flinched with I read it at first. The First thing I thought was- “Did he get traded too this year”? And Then I remembered that he is not a free agent this season. So What was it?. Just before I was out the door to start my work day, I took a glimpse at my twitter and the trending topics and saw Sean Payton’s name sitting high top of the topics. When I realized his name was there the first thought I had is “What TF is going on with my COAH”? I clicked on his topic and saw the TRAGIC news that he had been suspended for the season without pay as a penalty for the “Bounty System” . I was in total AWE and SHOCK when I herd the headlines. The Saddest part was when I was informed by a friend on twitter to turn on ESPN only to see  fans protesting in Champion Square behind the news. It was literally the saddest day for me.

The hard day got a little bit worse for me as I came home today only to find my facebook plastered with “Free Coach Payton” and “Team Payton” graphics all over my wall. For A Moment, I Felt like I was living the “Free  Mister Clark” Scene from the “Lean On Me” movie . The only difference , Coach Payton was not in prison. To ice off the living hell day, more Saints headlines came up about Tracy Porter Signing with the Broncos ,. That made me even  more upset to find out that the Saints just lost another key player and one of my Favorite Players. Tracy gave me a lot of memories watching the Saints as a kid. He was there when Brooks was around and was %50 of the reason why the Saints won their first superbowl in 09! . Every time I think Of  Tracy, all I can think about is the following two plays:

I can recall both of those plays like the back of my hand. There were more times with Tracy, but, those two were my favorites of him. I can call those two plays like Eli’s Hail Mary in the Division Round this year! And that last play you just saw is really the only vivid memory I have from the Superbowl. Besides Brees tearing at his MVP Speech and raising his [then] one year old son Baylen in the air. Good times. I would look for more good times to come this season, but from where things are standing, it’s gonna be the longest, hardest, and the roughest season for the Saints. But, I was born a fan and I will die a fan! Always With My Saints!

Well, This doesn’t Seem Fair…
  March 13th, 2012

Well guys, long time no Blog huh? Well. Here I am again getting ready to blog my feeling on one of my favorite topics, MY SAINTS. Yes,  I know what you’re thinking: Football season is LONG over, so , why am I still blogging about football. Well friends, there’s just been soo much drama going on in my hometown, that, I felt like I needed to give my input on it. I am also going to blog a little bit about my Hornets too , so, this blog is going to be a nice long lengthy one. Okay. So let’s start what what we know about the Saints: We Know that their last season was probably the best and most record setting season of the franchise that ended drastically a couple of months a go. We also know that the Saints have been struggling trying to resign their leader DREW BREES and STILL have n0t managed to pay Drew what he’s worth.

Okay, Any Saints Die Hart such as myself know for a fact that the Saints have DEFINITELY been BETTER THAN EVER since Drew left San Diego and Landed with the Saints in 05 . I mean after all , How many Saints QB led the boys to a Superbowl ? One. How Many Saints QBs came close or actually broke Dan Marino’s Single Passing Record? One. How many QBs have led the Saints to three back to back Playoff spots and won two division titles for New Orleans? One. How many NOLA QB’s came close to being named the season’s MVP?  Wait for it….ONE! All Lead bye the man Drew Brees. Drew has practically done for New Orleans in just six years what it took other NOLA QB’s to do in 46 years! So Basically, Drew’s pretty much a legend in the Big Easy . Am I Right? Of Course I’m right! So why can’t NOLA pay Brees what the man is worth.

I mean, Drew’s previous contract was worth 60 Millions dollars [according to some rumors that I herd. ] and that contract expired this year. So with a phat pay check like that, you would expect that NOLA could afford a to pay their leader an even BIGGER pay check than that considering the fact how much Brees has helped the team accomplished  over the pass season. Sure, the Saints didn’t make it to INDY this year and claim their second trophy . How ever, watching  that divisional title game  on Dec 26 of last year was pretty much a Superbowl Moment to New Orleans  , which is why the city now nick name’s that game “Dan Marino Night” .  What made that night even more rewarding was the fact that not only was a 20-year single passing record broken that night, but the Saints walked off with the divisional title and did it right in front the face of their own RIVAL . Which was like a perfect FU MOMENT to Atlanta .

With all that being said, let’s cut down to the chase about the point of this blog and get back to where I raised the question of  ”Why Can’t NOLA pay Drew what he is worth”. Since the off season began, the only question that has been burning on mine and the mind of the fans is- “What’s Gonna Happen To Brees? Will We See Him Next Season?” After ending a perfect season so drastically in Frisco late last year,  NOLA was left with a LOT of Heartbreak on its shoulders. The city could end up in even MORE misery if they have to suffer what Indianapolis did just recently which was losing their STAR QUARTERBACK who has been their leader for 14 years! Peyton is3 5 now which means he’s practically been playing for the city since he was about my age [21] . Which is a LONG time , and during those 14 years, Peyton has lead the city to TWO Superbowls and FOUR MVP titles, so , he’s had a pretty good run in INDY and I more than CERTAIN that INDY is MORE THAN MISERABLE to watch him leave and play for another team.  Can you imagine  how New Orleans would be  if the same happened to Brees.

Yes, I already know that Brees has been tagged  by the Saints to keep him from becoming a free agent and negotiating with other teams for new contracts, how ever , there are reports circulating that Brees is refusing to sign the franchise contract and is ‘livid’ about signing it and in my honest opinion, he has EVERY RIGHT TO BE. I mean seriously, just imagine this for a second. Image you on a job making 60 Million a year for the past 6 years. Okay, now picture your boss coming up to you all of a sudden saying “we can’t afford to pay you this much any more so we’re gonna have to cut your pay to 14.4 Million a year.” And then you find out that your co-workers is getting a new 40 Million dollar contract when you’ve done more work for your company than he has. Now let’s pretend that Co-Worker is Marques Colston who just signed a 40 Million 5 Year Deal to stay with the Saints. I am NOT saying I am pissed that Marq is staying, I am actually THRILLED because he’s one of those players that I have grown up with in my childhood [Like Shockey]. However, I don’t think it is fair that the Saints wanted to originally sign Drew to a deal for 23 Million dollars that would have made him the highest paid quarterback this season .

Is that a little, IDK, UNFAIR? I mean yes, Marq is a prized possession to New Orleans  and he’s been with the Saints MUCH LONGER THAN DREW HAS, Regardless, I still believe the situation should be the other way around. Drew is WORTH what LOOMIS is giving COLSTON and I am pretty sure a TON of fans agree with me on that. However, the GM seems to believe that Drew is only a “GOOD” quarterback and not a “GREAT” one. Is he EFFING KIDDING ME?  Brees has pretty much been the BEST thing NOLA has ever had since  the ARCHIE MANNING era. After what he has accomplished for NOLA, I don’t see  how anyone can NOT find Drew GREAT. You don’t even have to BE a Saints Fan to know that no OTHER Quarterback has done as much as Dew has for the Saints. As Betty White Mentioned in her opening Mono on Dan Marino Night, The Man Means More to the city than MARDI GRAS.  And that ‘s the TRUTH people. If you go to NOLA now, you can’t find not ONE NATIVE down there who doesn’t own a #9 Jersey or T-Shirt. So how ON EARTH can someone so IGNORANT say Drew is not GREAT? That is just BULLSHIT.

To make this situation even worse, today is the official start of the “Free Agency Season” . The Saints are running out of  FA money . According to reports , the Saints had 180 Million in FA money and now are down to just 7 Million left [Since signing Colston this morning.]. So, Once that money runs out, What’s gonna happen to Brees if he is not signed before the well runs dry? That’s the only question that is left on my mind at this point.

Everyone Loves To Watch Movies, However,
  February 4th, 2012

no one likes paying extra fees with them. If you do, then you’d probably like to subscribe to a little company called. NETFLIX . WHAT?! What’s Wrong With Netflix? They give you unlimited movies and tv shows for a low flat rate of 7.99 and you can cancel at anytime! If this is what you’re thinking, then you are WRONG my friend. NETFLIX is a a full on SCAM! Yeah, you herd me right, their service not only SUCKS , but their advertisements are misLEADING. I Ashley, just joined the subscription TONIGHT not knowing that I had just walked myself into a TRAP. I’m pretty sure by now you guys have seen some kind of NETFLIX advertisement and you’ve seen what they offer in the ads , or what you think they offer. For Starters, NETFLIX does not offer unlimited TV Shows and Movies and you’re gonna love this part, the service is NOT just  7.99! [GASP] but that’s what the ad says! Yes, I know what the ad says, but listen: When you order your trial version of netflix, there is no charge on the card the day you order, however, they ask you to add an ADDITIONAL 7.99 for unlimited DVD to be  sent straight to your house. HUH? You would think that when a commercial advertisement says u get UNLIMITED Movies and TVs for one set price, then, that’s what they are suppose to give you right? WRONG!!! When you sign up,  the free trial only gives you a variety of DVDs and TV Shows  while the best TV Shows [Like House, Person Of Interest, rct] have to be sent to your House on DVD and are NOT available for instant streaming! And here comes the kicker-you know how in the end of the commercials they say you can cancel anytime? Yeah, that excludes your free trial. So in other words, you have to go a full month of their so called free trial service and then you can cancel your membership AFTER they charge you a month for being a member! So Even the TRAIL is a freaking RIP OFF!!. Ugh, nothing makes me angrier than to realize I’ve been scam by a company you think you would be getting better service from a highly promoted company only to realized that they’re nothing but SCAMMERS

Fee , Fi, Fo, FUMP

San Fransico Just Got STOMPED!

Ahh ! After Experiencing a TRAGIC divisional weekend lost for my Saints. All Hope was not gone for the People of New Orleans because there’s still a native from the Boot left standing – and it’s ELI MANNING!!! Yes My Friends, after what had appear to be the LONGEST and ROUGHEST game I have EVER Wittiness , the Giants  STOMPED  The 49ers  chances at the Super bowl ! Making the People of New York and New Orleans VERY PROUD !  This Game was probably the toughest and the most THRILLING playoff game I have EVER wittiness . This game had a much different twist from last week’s tragic. Instead of  The San Fran Defense verses a Killer offense , this was a Red Hot Defense verses yet another red hot defense! This Game was SO CLOSE and SO HARD , Four Quarter were NOT ENOUGH to play it through ! This Game went into SUDDEN DEATH …[For Those Who Don't Watch Football, Sudden Death Means an OVER TIME.]

There’s so many moments to re-capture in this game that I don’t know where to begin ! Before I do, I just want to say that I am again SO HAPPY that one of my favorite teams advanced to the Superbowl this year. After Watching what went down with New Orleans, I thought for sure The Packers were gonna whip out the Giants and head for a second ring. -NOT THE CASE! Giants were still in it , and they made all the way through the race !

Now , To Get Back on Topic with the Game. Just like last week, the game started REALLY shaky for the Giants. The number one thing , you NEVER want to do in a Championship Game is fumble the ball on your first possession -That’s just what Eli did. Giants were on the first 3rd down and the ball snapped loose from his hands and San Fran takes over. But the Situation Got a little worse from there.

On a Second and 10 at the 25 yard line, Alex Smith goes deep for Vermon Davis for the first score of the day! Davis, Davis, Haven’t I herd that name before? HMM…I Think I Have [The Catch]<< Yes, that same guy that turned things around in divisional week for San Fran and sent my Saints Home Packing! [Boo You Whore!] LOL !!!  So At this point of the game, I am already thinking this game is going to end worse for New York then it did for New Orleans.  But Did it?  MAYBE!

The thing that pissed me off about this play was that, Davis was fouled on for Unsportsmanlike Conduct after the play and the refs DECLINED THE EFFIN PENALTY ! But it’s natural that refs would make bad calls so they can try and cheat their team to a win right? Well, that’s what the refs were hoping for.

10 Drives Later , Eli Manning shows the lousy refs up with a Touchdown. Which ties the game on a wet and chilly day for San Fran.
After getting the ball back, the niners went 3 and out with no score and handed the ball back to the hands of the Giants.  A Few Plays later, Giants surrender for a field goal and took a 3 Pt lead over San Fran . After the Half Time , Guess who comes back with another score? Yep! It’s The Catching Man Davis again! After seeing that play, I was literary banging my head against the TV thinking this Davis guy was going to ruin my good game mood again just like he did last week. But , it was too early to surrender  for my giants because I knew fourth quarter was around the corner . And I know how well Eli bounces back in the Fourth Quarter.

A Few Plays later .. Giants grab the ball back after a fumble  from the niners that landed the Giants set for field goal rage, Manning Shoots and Scores as e dropped a long one on Mario Manningham  which put the Giants ahead of San Fran by 3! At this point of the game, I was having mixed emotions, because I knew for a fact that all San Francisco had to do know was snap a few passes into Field Goal rang and kick a field goal to make it a tied a game. And they did JUST THAT. Just before the last few seconds of the 4th  burned out. So you know what that means? It meant the game officially went into OVERTIME..

After the Overtime whistle blew, Giants won the coin toss and got the ball. Even though they grasped the opportunity for the first score, the boys went no where and had to give the ball back to San Fran. This , is the part of the game when I really want to start crying cause it means San Fran is one step closer to sealing the deal. But then, a Miracle Happened: San Fran went three and out and had to punt the ball. [Wait For It...] Before the boy was punted, a miracle worker by the name of Devin Thomas stripped the ball out of San Frans hands…AT THE 30 Yard Line ! Which means, Giants had the ball and were ALREADY FIELD GOAL range. But instead of going for the money, the Giants went for 3 downs to bring the ball all the way to the 31 yard line !!![After a Giants Penalty ] .  I am jumping and crying tears of joy when I am seeing this, a moment later, I start praying to God that the Giants don’t suffer the same fate the Ravens did [No Offense To Raven Fans.]  which was losing the championship game by a missed field goal.  Thankfully , that bad luck did not rub off on the Giants as they kicked their selves through the door of Indianapolis !  Seeing this win brought me back to the NFC Title Game with the Saints as they played the Vikings. They too took the glory with a Field Goal, The Only Difference was that, they were not in over time! Anywhoo. I am so proud of the outcome of the game and how the Giants were able to hang in there ! I wish them luck  as they head to  INDY for a Superbowl Match Up With the Patriots.

ALL THE WAY BLUE !!!!!!

Hail Mary, Full Of Grace…
  January 16th, 2012

Well, I have to sorry for not blogging after the Wild Card Weekend  , but, I will re cap everything that happen in my Playoff Journey. There were some ups and some MAJOR Downs. But before we get to the Fairy Tale Ending That Was written by Eli(TE) Manning , I have to take things where it all started . In The Mercedes Benz Superdome on January 14th , 2012. The Saints were entering they’re first playoff match against the Lions. I was nervous as hell about this game. Not because of the fact that I didn’t have faith that my Saints could beat a team that they completely RAN OVER in the regular Season , I was afraid of reliving the tragic  of the 2010 playoffs . If you don’t follow The Saints are Football, I’ll break it down like this :  During those playoffs, the Saints were the defending Superbowl Champions  and they Were Playing a 7-9 Team (Sea Hawks ) and LOST to them at the last minute . And Like Detroit, The Hawks were also a Team That The Saints made Road Kill Out of during the regular season. But Luckily , The Saints rebounded nicely this year. The Boys Played A Shaky First Half against the Lions during this years wild card, and for a minute, I started to cry because it looked like the tragic was happening all over again. Thankfully. Drew Brees was able to come back swinging the second half and it was another 40 pt, and 400 yard game for Brees . So Far So Good Right?  That game ended on a DAMN GOOD note. Of Course when the Saints win, I always look for The Giants to Respond- and they did just that! That Following Sunday, the Giants plucked the FEATHERS off of the Atlanta Falcons, sending Matt Ryan home for the Seasons .[Which Made Me EXTREMELY hay cause I hate those guys. (SORRY)) . The Final score was 24-2 Giants. [ The 2 Pts ATL game was from a Safety Eli committed early in the Game.] So I went home with a happy Wild Card Week. Both Of My Teams Had WON and were headed to the Divisional Round…

The Following week  after Wild Card Weekend was a HUGE week for the people of New Orleans and of Louisiana . Not only was it Divisional Week for the Saints, but, it was also a huge week for LSU  as the LSU tigers headed down from Baton Rouge to New Orleans to play the BSC Championship . So Pictured the Mercedes Benz Superdome Packed with People wearing their Purple and Gold Shirts, T-Shirts, and Jerseys and What Nots ready to cheer on their Tigers and watch them bring home the Championship Title. Now Picture Everything Going Horribly WRONG for the Tigers. How WRONG You ASK? Well, I’ll just give it to you like this-LSU Ended up with a 65 Yard Game[ THAT's IT! Sixty Five Yards from Jordan Jefferson!] ,Two Interceptions , [ One in which was returned as a touch down] and only ONE FIRST DOWN THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE GAME! [YES, IT WAS THAT BAD FOLKS!] . Meanwhile, their opponent (Alabama )  ended up with 5 FGs (one of which was  ruled as a wide kick) , a successful faked field goal, and a full on Touchdown 9That was made off a Tigers Turnover) leaving with BAMA with 21 points and the TIGERS with NOTHING!  ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Tragic right? Well hold your noses folks, the waters are about to get deeper!

After that tragic, I am pretty sure people in New Orleans were hoping for the Saints at this point. Well…Let’s Just Say , at least they got this far right? Anyways, after a LONG SOUR WEEK, January 14 flys around the corner. [Which was Divisional Day for the Saints.] and the Saints were facing the San Frisco 49ers (another team that was on the same page as the  2010 Sea Hawks) . The only thing that was making me worry about this match up was the fact how RED HOT Frisco’s Defense was. I’ve herd stories all year long about how tough their defense was and how out of place their offense were. But Unlike Frisco, New Orleans was the total opposite. They had an EXPLOSIVE defense , but a TANGLING defense . So the match up was going to be  against New Orleans’s Offense versus Frisco’s Defense . And of course , like myself, a lot of people were putting money on the Saints because of Brees’s Playbook being better played than      Alex Smith’s . I mean, after all, he just finished a season where he made a rep as being the first quarter back to break Dan Marino’s  single season passing record . So who in their right mind would say no to a Quarterback with that much on his plate? As the game kicked off, the Saints started out with 3 Turn Overs in the First Half and ended up trailing by 14. And If  that aint enough to swallow, Two Of New Orleans’s most dependable players (Jimmy Graham and Pierre Thomas) took early nasty hits and BOTH were almost  out for the game. Luckily, Graham was healthy enough  to return, but sadly Thomas was ruled out with a head injury. Which really tore up New Orleans’s hope because they were without two of their most valued players. (The Second being Lance Moore who was out due to a Ham String).

One good thing that came from out the first half, was that New Orleans was able to come back from a 14 point lead and able to lead the game by 3 Points. Which means New Orleans started the second half with  Brees taking full control of the wheel on San Frisco ’s turf. However, things took a turn for the worst, Brees ended up throwing two touch downs and two interceptions (which put New Orleans in the Lead for a second round .) However, all that fuel and that MAGNIFICENT LAST MINUTE TOUCHDOWN from Jimmy Graham who almost ANSWERED New Orlean’s prayers and sent the boys to the NFC Championship,  the boys still ended up short of Frisco as Alex Smith scored a last minute  touchdown drive  on New Orleans. with a little over a minute left in the 4th leaving the Saints and the City of New Orleans DEVASTATED. Even though the season ended in tragedy just like last seasons, I can honestly say, as long as I have been watching the Saints. This season was their ABSOLUTE BEST! The boys played their best football they’ve ever played and I’m still proud of it and look forward to a an even Bigger and Harder team next year. I’m not gonna tell lies here and say that I did not share tears after that loss, because my eyes were BLOODSHOT RED after that game. However, My playoff hopes were not in the gutter just yet, because , the  Giants were still in it to win it!! After praying hard for a Big Blue Victory in Green Bay , Eli Manning happily answered my prayers with a 37 -20 win over the Packers!  And you want to know the best play of the game?? (The title of this post should give you a hint.)

Did U Get what happened there? ELI threw a HAIL MARY! For Those Who Don’t Watch Football , A Hail Mary is a play where the quarter back goes for a deeper than usual pass (like Eli Just did) and makes a Touch down with less than 10 seconds remaining on the clock . (In this case, he did it in six)! This was literally the BEST PLAY I EVER watched in my ENTIRE life! I was literally in tears when Hakeem caught that thing. When your Quarterback takes a risk like that, no one really expects for that risk to be counted far. In this case, it worked for Eli! And That win from the Giants was the answer I needed to end my Divisional Playoff Week on a Good Note! So Thank you Mister Manning and Thank You New York Giants for an incredible win! Now, I hope the Giants can shut down San Fran and March all the way to Indy where Eli will win his second ring!

While 2011 was not the Year For Celeb Couples ….
  January 5th, 2012

2012 seems to be the year all the bad luck changes. It seems like last year, all I ever herd on Gossip Blogs and Magazines were’s about people breaking up or getting divorced , or “taking a break’ from each other. But , this year

justin-timberlake-jessica-biel (1)

The first confirmed engagement i herd about this year was BRITNEY SPEARS, and then the next was Lebron James, and NOW…Wait For It..MY OWN IDOL IS ENGAGED! Yes Finally . After Dating Jessica Beil for like HALF HIS CAREER,  confirmed reports have finally come on saying JT popped the Question sometime before Christmas of last year! And All I can say is- IT’S ABOUT TIME MAN!  And what a way to get engaged JUST BEFORE YOUR 31st BDAY! [JT Turns 31 on the 21st of this month.] . And THIS IS ONE GIFT THAT CAN’T BE WRAPPED IN A BOX.  I hope the best for JT and his marriage. After all these years of dating, it’s nice to finally see him turn the knot! Can’t wait to see the Wedding Photos when they are leaked :0

Happy BLUE year everyone
  January 4th, 2012

Happy Blue Year Everyone! It’s My First Post of 2012!

I know it’s late , but HAppy New Years Guys! Or, If you’re a giants fan like me it’s a “Blue Year” for us! I can’t believe I am blogging this, but , the 2011-21 NFL Regular Season has now come to an official close.  It’s hard to believe that Seventeen Weeks flew by like SNAP! Seems like just yesterday I was watching the Saints Opening the Season playing The World Champion Packers and now, last night. I was watchiung My Second favorite team [The New York Giants] close out the season by winning the NFC title from The Dallas Cowvboys! And Can I just say, I am GLAD the Giants are in the race to Indiapolis this year and are NOT bieng sent home a fourth year in a row! Another Random Thing is that I have acheived both of my NFL Goals this year. I made a pact with my Friend that the Saints and The Giants would finish first in their league and both be in the playoffs, and, IT HAPPENED! Although the Saints have seemed to finish 1st in their division without a problen, however, the road to the playoffs for the Giants was really rocky this Season. One of the Reason’s I was really rooting for the giants this year is- A] They’re Practically one of the lowest rated teams in the league. They’re one of those teams critics LOVE to stick their noses up at {Especially At Eli because they expect him to play like his heavliy praised brother every season.} . B]  They’re also one of those NFL teams who don’t get enough credit from criticts. Everytime I  read an issues of Sports Illustrated , I am almost frigthen to look at critc reviews of the season because I know for a fact the critics will find some way to give the GMEN a hard time and they’re also gonna find a way to write a four page article trash talking Eli. Yes, Eli’s no Brees/Brady/Rodgers  and Who Gives A Damn? He Didn’t Need To Be Those Guys to get that ring in 2007 and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have to be those guys to do it again either.

You know what’s really funny, kis the fact that most officials are still looking over the Giants in the playoffs. It Seems to me, whenever I go on on an NFL site, it seems that I’m always reading articles where officials are jumping to conclusions thinking the NFC Tilte is gonna be between the Saints and Greenbay this year. [Although I would LOVe to see that.] People are tending  to forget that even though the Saints have a sort-of-steady-schedule in the playoffs this year, you have to remember that there’s still room for upsets.. [I'm not saying this because I am rooting for my Hometown to pull an upset so The Giants can have their day again.] I’m saying it because everyone knows the Playoffs are the time of the year where the biggest upsets can happen. Let’s take a trip back to wild card saturday last season. Who was the Team that had just won a Superbowl and got outbeat by a 7-9 Team at the Wildcard that people thought they would “BREES” by? Yep, You Gussed it, it was New Orleans. And BELIVE ME when I say that was a VERY DARK HOUR for me to watch my home team lose to a game to a team that had “The Worst Wild Card Record In History”. And To Make matters worst, The Saints TORUCHURED these guys during regular season this year. But I mean, the only thing worst than losing to a team like that would be losing to a winless team the next season, right? [They did that too. That was Game Two They Lost during Regular Season.]

Anyhow, The Giants have definately suffered worst losses . I think the biggest lost they had this season the had was against the red skins. The Skins slimmered the boys chances of a playoff appearance and landed them in a “winner-takes-all-Match” againts the Jets! [The Battle for the Big Apple]. But, The Giants rebounded again TWICE after that last. The first rebound was a CLOSE CALL WIN they pulled over Dallas in Round One. The Guys were saved with a Time Out and a Blocked Field Goal that Saved them from going into overtime with Dallas. But the War was stiill not over yet! That win by New York Tied them for first place in the NFC East with Dallas. Which Meant that the Giants were landed in a “WINNER-TAKES -ALL” Match againts the Cowboys. And That Match was the last game I watched on Sunday and it ended well for me after watching footage of Tom Coughlin get drenched with Gatorade from his players. What a Fairy Tale Ending for the Guys and a perfect Early Birthday Gift For Eli [Whose BDAY is TODAY just FYI.]  Now it’s up to either the Saints or the Giants to get to the NFC Champiom Title this year [And I will be rooting for both teams.] But it one team falls out early. Then I’ll be rooting for the team left standing to face Greenbay. As long as someone can come along and stop Wiscousin from getting a 14th ring, I can easliy mark this season THE BEST SEASON EVER! But for now, Both of my Teams Have to Survive Wild Card this Weekend Starting With My Saints who play Detriot this coming Saturday and the GMEN will be playing their [The Saints] Rival Atlanta.  Let’s see how far each team goes.

HISTORY was Made In The Big Easy Tonight
  December 27th, 2011

WOW! The Last Time New Orleans Had a Night This Big and made history Was On February 07, 2009. Well, The Saints Struck luck again tonight  Starting With Whipping Their Biggest Rivals (The Atlanta Falcons) 45-16 , and Ending With MY QUARTER BACK breaking Dan Marino’s Single Passing Record. If Was a Very Emotional Win For The Guys just like The Superbowl in 2009 and Drew Brees got to hold his first ever MVP trophy.. and that’s not even the best part of the whole Deal …Not Only Did The Guys Win The Game and Break The World’s Biggest NFL Record, but they ALSO WON THE DIVISION TONIGHT. So My Friends. I am very proud to say that I was born and raised in the City that is now know as King of the NFC South and I am also proud to say I have the classiest team and the classiest QB In History. But the fun doesn’t end there you guys. The Saints Are Not The Only Ones Who Had A Big Night. As New Orleans as a fourth Reason to be Smiling. Tonight was the NBA Regular Season Opener with The New Orleans Hornets as well (who opened playing in Phoenix Tonight) and guess what? THEY WON THEIR FIRST GAME TOO! SO  MONDAY was an action packed night for my Saints and My Hornets who both gave me something to be proud of today.

Before all this excitement took place tonight. There was another major game that was played on Christmas Eve that I wanted to blog about. And That game was The Battle of The Big Apple. New York Jets vs the New York Giants.  This Game was MASSIVE and a Must Win for both Teams as the results of the game was crucial -The Winning Team would be sent to the playoffs, while the losing team would be sent home to WATCH the playoffs. If the Jets Won , that means that they not only clinch a chance to win the division , it also meant that the Giants would Miss The Playoffs for a Fourth Year in a Row. And I Personally, was rooting for a Giants because of the fact that A] I’m basically the Only Eli Manning Stan in My Family and B] The Giants are one of the most underrated teams that really don’t get enough credit for their effort. And winning that Game would’ve won some respect from a lot of critics. Regardless, The Giants did what I was hopping for them to do, they rose to the occasion and slapped the Jets in the face with a major win. Now that the Giants won the battle of New York, they must remain focused and strong enough to take on the division title this Sunday Against The Cowboys.  During the beginning of the Season , I put my hopes up to see two things Happen this Year – and that was for my hometown and the Giants to get into the playoffs this year, Finish 1st in their league , and clinch their division title . So Far, The Saints have done all three and The Giants have almost achieved my Dream. They’re tied up with the Cowboys for first in the NFC East. I hope All of that Changes Sunday Night and that the Giants will Clinch Their Division and be on their way to the 2011 Playoffs. I personally believe they deserve a spot more than any team in the NFC right now.
